Below are the results to our previous poll. Thanks to the 4575 participants who took part in this poll.
Previous Poll Topic: Poll started 3 January 2005: As a good MoneySaver you've just checked your bank statement, only to discover a couple of days ago £1000 was added; yet it's not your cash, it's a definite error. Which of these is closest to what you'd do?
a) Inform the bank straight away 33% - (1512 Votes)
b) Not tell the bank, but wouldn't touch it for at least a year 26.7% - (1224 Votes)
d) Take it out straight away and put it in the top savings account 24.8% - (1135 Votes)

Sorry a bit late to this as only just spotted it in the weekly update.
The obvious one as a money saver is to make use of Martin's advice and transfer it to your newly opened in January Alliance and Leicester 10% savings account getting a £50 bribe as well.
Then when the bank ask for it back you've made the interest and got £50 for your efforts as well.
