Fixed deposit account question re kaupthing edge and icesave

Options
I have a fixed deposit account in both kaupthing edge and icesave. With respect to icesave i am about to log in to start the compensation claim. Is it best to leave my fixed term deposit account until it matures. Will i receive interest up until maturity date? Secondly , i can't remember how much i have in my easy access account. Will i be able to search my balance before i have to fill in the form online?

Thirdly i have a fixed deposit account with kauphing edge. It matures in july. How do i get my hands on my money. Do i have to wait until july or can i get it out sooner. Do i have to go to kaupthing edge log in site or ing site. I have no idea what to do.

No idea what to do seems a little bit weird.............How did you log into your account before???
    Any how -
To have a fixed term deposit account with K/E you needed to have an easy access account. Log in to your account as - normal - using the Normal Kaupthing edge website - Which is jsut in case you have forgot -http://www.kaupthingedge.co.uk
Go to login and have a look at your accounts.
Ideally you should wait until your fix term deposit account matures in July, then the money would be paid into your instant access account for you to withdraw.

I understand that if you want your money sooner ( i.e to end your fix term account early) there is a break rate(penalty). People have suggested on here that there is a 1% reduction in the rate you would receive on your savings, others have highlighted your interest rate would be cut to zero:eek:
So I would ring them up, using the number provided on the website and have a chat about the options. Go get em!!
