Hello,
Ive sert up a new joint basic bank account for my partner, with Abbey.
Now ive found out that Abbey are part of Santander which so are Alliance & Leicester.
I have a personal loan with A&L, do they have the right to offset, as they are part of the same group as Abbey or not?
Please help asap please.

They are in the same group but there computer systems aren't linked yet and they both have different FSA registrations.0
