TEXT AND WIN (£10)WITH MULLERICE

Well do I get a prize? It will soon be 26th June and I haven't won a bean since the start of the competition.

Just received a text message from +447781481401
reading :

Hi, if you have not yet received your £10 winning cheque from the Mullerice 'Hole in Your Pocket' promotion please reply NO before 12.07.05

Naturally, as I haven't received said cheque I replied. An instant response came :

Thanks, we need to confirm your address. Reply with ur full name, house number & postcode & we will verify ur entry against our prize bank.

ANOTHER text with said details was sent, to which another instant response was received :

Is this correct? (insert name and address here)? Respond with a YES or NO to confirm your details

So 3rd text sent confirming this was correct.

That was 15 minutes ago, and nothing received back - but it certainly seems legit. So maybe my cheque for £10.30 (surely they'll had the 3x10p SMS message cost for me to sort out their records? ) will arrive any day now?...

...or maybe not.

my daughter got this as well , but as we all won on different phones we waiting to see if we all get the same message.. or has the company who was dealing with this on mullers behalf sold our phone numbers who now trying to get our addresses to add to more mailing lists

I guessed this thread would have been resurrected !

I'm wondering what to do, too ! I replied NO, then a few mins later got the 2nd requesting name/add. Does seem a bit odd, but then the whole thing was a bit odd from the start - giving away free tenners !!

I 'won' twice, but only got one of the cheques.

So what's the worst that could happen if our details have been sent on ? We get junk mail ?

Does seem weird they don't have a ref between our telno and our namadd ... but they must have, else how do they check ? And what are they checking exactly ? Are they actually admitting to not sending out all the 'prize' money ? Or would they be X-refing with their cheque numbers to see if any have not been cashed (lost in post) and then re-issuing ?

Did anyone actually but any Muller rice and see the T&C's first hand ?

Could this be one of those premium text numbers - £1.50 per text, or something ? Could Muller (or AN Other if details have been sold on) be trying to claw back some cash ??

what surprised me abt this is that my daughter received all her cheques but myself and my partner didnt and we havnt received a txt message. so untill we do i wont send my daughters details off.. if anyone on here finds out this is as they say cocha then i will be ok with it as well

Ohoh - now I'm worried. Didn't even think about that - got a text this morning from them (assumed it was from them). Anyway, I've sent them an e-mail to confirm (a) it was really from Muller, and (b) they didn't charge me silly money for the texts.

Thank you for your email.

Please rest assure this is a genuine text message. The Müllerice ‘Hole in you Pocket’ promotion ended yesterday. From our database we discovered that a number of winners had yet claimed/received their winning cheque. As gesture of goodwill, Müllerice have sent out a reminder text to ensure everyone will receive their winning prize as intended.

You should hopefully receive your winning cheque next week.

All text messages are charged at the standard operators tariff set by network provider.

What about those who won more than once and didnt recieve any cheques but got the text yesterday?

I assume they'll only get one £10

you are lucky you got your winnings - i was made out to sound like a lyer because they couldnt find my number amongst the winning numbers - but, before that i received an email saying their computer had gone down and wiped everything - yet, also, people who didnt win got money - this is soooo unfair....i won £20 but not gonna see a penny .....
