How much should my gas & elec bill be ?
Hi,
I have recently moved into a new build property and require some advice on energy prices. As I have no idea what my consumption is or typically will be, its difficult to use the price comparison websites to work out a savings and whats good and not.
My circumstances -
Me & my wife living at the property. Both of us are full time professionals (9-5) and spend weekends at home.
3 Story, 3 Bedroom End terrace.
Gas Central Heating and hot water(on for maybe 3-4 hours per day)
Gas Stove, Electric Oven
I'm am currently with British Gas on the ClickEnergy 6 Tariff with dual fuel paying by DD.
£33 for elec & £86 for gas is what they have "calculated" it to be. But the gas seems high to me, but then again I have never paid a gas bill in my life s wouldn't know.
It would be interesting to know what others in similar circumstances are paying and who with?
Thanks very much,
Anand

Readings are taken each month by me no estimate readings, I cant remember usage off hand as I am not on the pc that has the spreadsheet.
