Trustee/executor accounts

Hi
Can anyone recommend a bank account suitable for use by a personal representative to collect money due to a deceased person's estate? I know some banks/building societies do not allow such accounts. The money will not be in there long because it will be transferred to a family trust so interest rate is not very important.
Any help appreciated.

I know that Barclays do a trustee savings account so chances are they might also do a current account that can be used for the same purposes.
As I have already mentioned, in a thread in the savings and investments forum, I had alot of problems getting staff at various companies to understand exactly what I was after, so don't be put off by any initial "nos", ask them to check with their head office if need be.

A lot of banks will only open an executor/personal representative account where there has been a banking connection ie either you or the deceased will have had to hold an account there.
This might narrow the field for you.0
