Short European Break

Hi all,
The girlfriend and I are looking for a short break away on the continent somewhere for a couple of nights in January.
We'd be looking at spending no more than £150 each including spending money, so really on a budget.
P and O Ferries do the short minicruises to Amsterdam which is where we really want to go, but their BOGOF deal doesn't appear to run after November which is a real shame.
Amsterdam is our top choice by the way.
