Days Inn over Christmas

Days Inn are offering rooms for £19 over the christmas period (19th dec - 6th Jan approx). It is not showing on their website you have to phone the hotel directly. I saw it at the Welcome Break just off the M40 at Oxford. I have just booked a room at Fleet for this price so it is a genuine offer. I can't remember all the locations that are available as I had just driven 400 miles so I am surprised it sank in at all! Maybe if anyone else stops there they can fill in the details a little more! Hope it helps.

Can i add for those who have stayed in Days Inn in the US that over here there is a bench mark standard which is like a travelodge over here.

In the States the hotel standards of the same chain vary so much its rarely possible to stick to one chain.

you dont say.. We booked to stay at a Ramanda in Orlando and after a long day in some disney park we turned up late at night, only to be so disguested we drove back to Tampa where we had family living.. I thought Ramada would be a safe bet, based on the Ramadas we have here in the UK, but no..

I know the feeling, a safe bet in the US is Hamptons or the Garden Inns for a more medium budget, if your budget allows then Marriott or Hilton are usually a safe bet.

Avoid Best Western, Days inn, Motel 8/6, ramada, plaza hotels, quality inns, and every other hotel i can think of who finds it necessary to have a 1000ft pole with their logo on top.
