International transfers

I am currently living and working in Spain, and receiving my monthly salary in euros, but I need to transfer some of this to my English account every month to pay loan/credit card. I did this through internet banking on my Spanish bank account, but it charged me 30 euros. Does anybody know the cheapest and quickest way to transfer money between Spanish & English bank accounts? Is Paypal a sensible option? Thanks in advance for your help.

You do a GBP/EUR deal with them. You would transfer the EUR to their bank account and they would send a GBP cheque to your bank - free of charge.
