    Hi All,

Hope everyone is feeling a bit better (hugs)

I've not been around for ages - other things have cropped up

    Money Saving Things Done Recently
    Saturday
    • walked into town (saving parking or bus fare)
    • Hubby bought breakfast
    • searched around for a higher rate saving's account (it's really hard to remember who owns what banks - I have recently found out that Natwest are part of RBS :o)
    • Checked online banking - nothing has really changed
    • Put change in my sealed pot
    Sunday
    • Shopped around for cheap petrol filled up with £20 - mum paid 1/2 :j
    • Treated myself to a coffee in town when meeting a friend - cheaper than meeting for lunch or going for a drink
    • Parked in council car park rather than the shopping centre carpark
    • Went to Iceland for dinner £15 for 6 meals (there are 3 of us)
    Monday
    • checked online banking
    • treated myself to coffee and a cereal bar at work (coffee was budgeted, however I went to Tesco after work and stocked up on cereal bars as one at work is 99p )
    • Had to buy a sandwich as I had not taken bread out of the freezer - bought the cheapest possible one
    Today
    • had breakfast before I left home
    • made lunch - chicken sandwich and homemade soup
    • bought a coffee at work (had one of the cereal bars to go with it)
    • chased up Quidco for a missing payment (£110 for L&G ISA) - should pay soon fingers crossed
    • left enough money in my purse for 2 coffees (resisting bagel or cereal bars)
OMG my list is almost as long as Andan's - but mine covers 3 days

Hope everyone has a great evening - brrrr it is really cold here. I have had to put the heating on in the room as I don't want to get a chest infection this year.

    Take care

Good friend went and bought stuff for rainbows activity from Asda to make marzipan mini fruits sprinkled with icing sugar. Had great fun colouring marzipan were like a couple of kids.
The rainbows really enjoyed the activity too (I originally was going to wag off coz i felt so bad, but was glad I didn't)

Was never going to be 2nd poster today, so I thought I would go for last of the day. :rotfl:
Off to burn some more olbas oil in my bright prink fluffy sock that dd bought me last xmas. I am missing her more now, but not sure if thats because I am feeling under weather and have been brooding about it today.
My finances are work in progress.
