But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Today I will:
- check online banking
- make a loaf in breadmaker
- swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership
- storecupboard lunch and tea
- carry on cleaning and decluttering house
- start costing up an xmas meal for 50 that I want to do for oldies on xmas eve:eek:
- start collecting raffle prizes to fund the above
Have a great day everyone, hope all the poorly people have stopped feeling sick now.
Welcome to any new posters, it gets a bit mad in here sometimes but we are nice really:D
Catch up with you all later.:hello: :hello:

I still have the clumsy bug, today's early mishap involved yeast and a cup of coffee...was putting together a loaf and transferring the teaspoon of yeast to the pan when my hand sort of flicked and the yeast soared into my cup of coffee (and the side, recently cleared of cous cous) I tried to do the right thing and drink it, but coffee and yeast at 6:30am _pale_ urggg

I'm not up to much today after spending most of yesterday being ill - but low on the energy front as I haven't eaten since Sunday evening. Thumping headache but will try and drink some water later.
Will enter some comps later and do some cleaning in the afternoon.
This morning I'm trying not to want to go out and batter the workmen cutting blocks of stone for my neighbours monoblocking which is making every part of my home and my headache shake right now.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -

- find some more stuff to Ebay for my December tenner a day challenge
