  • that sounds like my OH spud!!

Have to say, once he gets into the right frame of mind, he does do the job. He's a pain in the arris whilst he is doing it - telling me what to do, oh yeah, I do all this, what are you doing, but I just let him have his martyr moment ;) To be honest, he's done an excellent job in the 2 rooms he's done so far, I hate decorating so am happy for him to sit and sand down skirting boards!

  • Yay!!! Just got an alert from CreditExpert and after 7 years of having my Halifax credit card it has now been marked as 'settled'. Woo hoo!!! I now only have, ahem, 3 credit cards left to get rid of!!! (Sainsburys - PPI case with the FOS, Egg reclaiming charges of £380, RBoS which is just kinda hanging around not doing anything).

Always a nice feeling when you see a debt disappear officially. Here's hoping that helps when it comes to renegotiating my mortgage in March.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

Lets hope he gets done before Xmas:eek:

the finish is amazing....two-tone, be a lot quicker with a roller.

i dont do ANY decorating, I live with a brilliant, serial decorator. Always painting for other people ( hallway, stairs and feature wall at friends last weekend....payment was dinner ) she should go full time, but is scared in case 'somebody doesnt like what I've done!' I say, do it again and charge double:D
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

Alright mate thanks, babby is due 15 Mar . How are you? Still the only gay on this forum?

Aww, that's fantastic. A very good friend of mine's birthday is 15th March.

I am doing ok, thanks. Taking a year out from uni to earn lots of £££ and pay off my debt once and for all, definitely the right decision.

Am I still the only gay on this forum? Hmm...I'm the only one not in the closet ;)
:p I'm the only gay in this forum :p

Well I am feeling a little better after a bath and a 3 hour sleep:eek:

OH is picking boys up from school as they are staying back to practice for tomorrow night so I am lolling about in my dressing gown until I have to get ready to go out at 6pm.
