Lost property in Dubai

My GF got back from South Africa last week flying Emirates via Dubai. (to Gatwick)
Anyhow, she has lost her digital camera, left it on the aircraft. She further called the Dubai International Airport and after 10 different telephone numbers and trying to explain in English of the endeavour, the Police Lost and found service actually found her camera. They have given her a reference number as proof that it is actually there. The p.roblem is trying to get hold of Emirates to get the camera on a plane back home to London. London Emirates tells her to phone the Dubai Lost and Found. Dubai Lost and Found tells her to phone Emirates (UK) who send emails saying they are not able to help. The newest email was that they were unavailable. Does anybody know what type of assistance she would need for this rigmarole? Or should she just kiss the camera goodbye?
Projects 2020-

Reduce CC debts, overtime (new job during pandemic), moneysaving and now a 3 year old to pay for and newborn LOL

When is she next flying through Dubai?

Otherwise, she will need to speak with someone helpful who works for Emirates in Dubai.

The way I would try to find such a person: I would begin with the site https://www.saynoto0870.com and look at the various Emirates numbers listed there. I would try to speak with an office that is NOT their call centre, in the hope of talking to someone who has friends and contacts all over the organisation. Obviously I would call at a time that is unlikely to be busy, and be as polite and friendly as possible.
