AVG 7.5 prof and AVG 8 download

Currently have AVG 7.5 professional which expires on 1st Dec 2008. Don't want to pay the subscription to renew it. Want to use AVG 8 free version. Do i simply download AVG 8 or do i have to uninstall AVG 7.5 professional?
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

You can download the AVG 8.0 top whack full package for free and use that for 30 days on trial. To get the same package cheaper than normal, sign up and pay using Trial Pay and pick one of the offers (I chose the vistaprint cards and it came to about £8).0
