reply to negative feedback

hi

Ive just received my first negative feedback id like to reply but i dont have a clue what to write.
The item was a sim card which sold for 75p and the buyer has left negative feedback Bad, Bad, Bad!!!! they did not contact me to advise me of any problem. Ive emailed the buyer to ask what the problem was but have not received any reply.
Any help on how to reply to this feedback would be appreciated.

    That sucks :(

What did their negative feedback say? (It would help to know this so that any reply can be tailored to it)
  • Hi

What's the buyer's habit on feedback (has he done this to many others in the past?)

Ooops, sorry, I thought that was just you saying that in your original post...my bad. :o

In that case, something along the lines of what freebie_junkie suggested is perfect.

I hope the buyer gets in touch and it turns out that they left that feedback by mistake. Hopefully they will then withdraw it.

Are you aware that you can reply to the feedback? Make sure you leave a polite, professional response.

When you do make contact, you may find that the person has posted the wrong feedback! Fat finger syndrome is quite common on PCs.

  • Hi

Ive just checked and mine is the first negative feedback he has left.
Would be nice to know why he left it the feedback itself doesnt give much away.

I'd say.... "No comms from buyer. Full refund would have been given if requested"

This kind of reply makes you look professional and approachable.

Usually I wouldn't recommend a retaliatory neg as it makes the seller look as bad as the buyer but in these circumstances I would. I'd put exactly the same as I said before as both my reply and neg for the buyer.
