    It will cost them £1500 to make you bankrupt and there is no guarantee that they will get back a penny of the £1600 you owe them now or the cost of the bankruptcy.

    Suggest that they are welcome to do so, but be alert to the fact that they can issue a Statuatory Demand at no cost and you need to get that set aside if they do it.

    I think I will very likely go with the £60, but definitley not the DD. I can afford the £60, but will write to say I don't envisage my circumstances changing to the extent that I'll be able to pay more than that in the forseeable future.

    By the way, did you check that what crapquest sent is really a CCA, not something that says it is a CCA. Bit unusual, them having the proper documentation.
