My current prefix provider (Onetel) sometimes withholds my number when I dial a mobile This can mean that the recipient will not pick up - result, completely worthless service for calling mobiles
Can anyone suggest a prefix provider where my number will not be withheld?

However, I'd strongly advise against making calls to mobiles via OneTel 1877 - 18185 is much cheaper (5p/minute during the week as opposed to 19p/minute and 2p/minute at weekends as opposed to 6p/minute).
OTOH, you'll have the same problem there because 18185 calls rarely carry CLI information.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
