I need a visa or mastercard to buy overseas medicine

Hello,

As the post states I am in need of a visa or mastercard to purchase two medicines, 'DHEA' and 'Isocort', both unavailbile in the UK but availible in the USA over the internet. They may be availible under a different brand, but that is not what I am looking for. I have already made purchases on my dads card (with his permission of course!) but I would rather have my own card as he has money worries of his own. I don't really understand how credit cards work or visa cards for that matter but I have been reading about HSBC's only credit card whilst trying to understand what it is all about :D

It is this one;

I am 20 years of age by the way. I need advice!

Thanks.

    I wouldn't apply for a card before you fully understand what you are doing. Credit cards are good when used carefully but as many people here will tell you they can get you into a whole world of debt if you are not careful.

    If you have never had a credit card or loan etc then you will probably struggle to get a good card interest rate and/or credit limit. you might be best to approach your bank if you have a good record with your current account.
  • just get a prepaid credit card from The Money Shop
  • DHEA is available in the UK. The same ingredients that are in Isocort are also available here.

    You are not allowed to import pharmaceutical products into this country. Not even stuff that would be available
    over the counter here, let alone pescription drugs. Things like food supplements can be classed as ’medical’.

    If Customs and Excise come across your stuff, it will be confiscated. Then you’ve lost not only your medicines, but your money as well. The CC is not likely to refund as you, as you have used the card for illegal activities.

    Be warned!
  • Please check again Bengal! I have ordered from abroad (nothing illegal!!) and have not had any probs. Stuff might confiscated. Also if the value is over $25/£18 you will be charged approx one third again as import duty/handling charge etc.
