Paint Colour Choice for the Kitchen....

Like to ask some advice of fellow MSE users on what paint colour would be idea for my kitchen. I currently got a peach paint at the moment and it looks awful. The first coat that kitchen had when new was that nasty Mangolia colour - yuck!
The current setup in the kitchen units are a Cherry Shaker sytle from B&Q (close match really) - with white tiles between the units and around to the sink. - this was installed when the house was built..
Any idea on colours that would suit the kitchen?
Mick

It's hard to find the balance when you are love.
You're lost in the middle cause you have to decide between mind & heart.

I find it amazing that someone would actually ask a complete stranger what colour to paint their kitchen. It is such a personal thing. By the way, I love Magnolia.
Go and get a few of the little match pots and see which one you like most, before deciding.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
I love magnolia too
a few good coats on the walls, white ceilings, white skirts, cant beat it.
As cherry wood is darkish, and you have white tiles, magnolia wood look lovely, But...... as you dont like mag, then how about a duck egg blue, or a nice jade green to bring out the depth of the cherrywood.:D0 -
Not too sure about buttermilk sooler, as used it to paint the exterior of my house, thought it was like a creamy colour, it looked quite yellow, fortunately the elements have faded it.0 -
