Must admit, it's a bit too much for me too, but i think i followed it. If he isn't at all MSE-wise, the snowball calculator is a good tool for him to see how much the banks are being gifted in interest.

I guess it all comes down to forward planning and knowing what you are doing. I'm afraid i'd be like your hubby and find it all a bit daunting - probably why he says it's too much effort.

    Well done though.
Looks like you've got it covered enough for both of you.

  • My OH is now used to my ms ways and when I tell I have joined a new challenge he just smiles. Mind you, he never says anything and he has seen how much better off we are now since I found this site. We have got out of debt, made overpayments on the mortgage and do not go overdrawn every month, so there are REAL benefits just by changing the way you think and saving the odd penny/pound here and there.

I just wish my friends would take it on board. They laugh at me when I say I am doing this challenge and that challenge and scoff...... coz it's not ME now saying I am x amount in debt and I don't know how I am going to pay for christmas:eek: - so let them laugh and scoff as much as they want, coz it's me that's smiling really:D .

And without all you good peeps on this board I wouldn't be where I am today.... so thank you :T (sorry to hijack your thread:o )
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:

LOL George! :rotfl: Bless you for speaking up for the fellas! :D

Isn't it strange how many men have no problems with numbers when it comes to working out goal differences, spread betting, stocks and shares etc, or something to do with torque or horsepower - but if you start talking about babywipes they get all confused?! :D

Ok it was a little convoluted and I had to read it twice. :o:D The basic upshot is that If Stacey gets the £4 for her wipes box she will have paid about £2 for about £11 worth of stuff.

That's got to be good going by anybody's standards!

    That's brilliant Stacey! :T :T :T

    Love Jacks xxx :D

PS George my lovely I totally agree with you about my beloved snowballer. There's something about that tool which gets through to everybody. :D
