I have a downstairs t.v with freeview that conects to my on roof aerial. I would like to be able to watch t.v in bed though so i have a t.v up there but without an aerial running to it. Could someone please explain how i would do this considering we rent so i cant really go drilling and hammering but i do want a decent picture upstairs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How strong is the signal in your area?
You might be able to get away with using an indoor aerial, maybe in conjunction with a signal booster, but otherwise drilling and hammering is pretty much inevitable.0 -
An AV extender might work and might not, depending how many wireless networks, DECT phone users and microwaves there are in and around your house. They work perfectly well for some, but we got too much interference on all available channels for it to be usable in our house. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.

You could use an AV sender e.g. here They recently had them on sale at Aldi for £20.
In today's wireless environment a 2.4GHz is unlikely to do the job and you can get one from amazon for £17.99 (and free delivery).
But if you want a good quality pic' you will need to get a 5.8GHz
