Is House of the Dead on Wii a 2 player gun game?

I have bought house of the dead 2 and 3 for mr divadee this christmas along with the nyko light gun (got the best reviews of the guns).

My question is this a 2 player game? it says 2 on the back but nothing about you can use 2 guns???

i want to get an additional gun so little miss divadee or me can play along with hubby.

According to the GAME website it says "Co-op gameplay: Grab a friend and play The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return in co-op to destroy the undead together, including Arcade mode and Time Attack mode." which to me says that 2 players can play co op but it doesnt mention 2 of the guns being used which doesnt really answer your question

i read about the co-op play and it didnt say anything about the gun, all it says on teh back of teh game is a picture of the wii remote with a 2 written on it, then it has a picture of the nunchuck and a picture of a gun but it doesnt have a 2 written on them

Yes you can use 2 guns, really fun game with a few mates round. You don't need a gun to play, but does make it more realistic, and you don't need numchuks either.

mr divade loves this game, he spent many an hour in the local sega world playing this years ago!!! he knows the graphics will be dated, but he cant wait to play it again.

just wish they would release time crisis for the wii now

Me and the wife love it. Have completed HOTD2, but 3 is bladdy hard, even with a ton of lives. That monkey type thing makes me want to smash the TV up..

Aren't all the guns available for the Wii just housings for the Wii Remote? So if you can use two remotes you can use two guns.
