Adding Search Engines To Firefox?

Hi how do you add a search engine of your choice to Firefox browser in your (drop down list)?

You mean in bookmarks?
Just goto say ~
http://www.google.co.uk/
goto 'bookmarks' (top left) and click 'bookmark this page'

alternatively I use google toolbar ~
http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/toolbar/FT3/intl/en-GB/index.html
Then save my bookmarks on that as I can sign in on any computer connected to the internet then

Can you add your own or just add new search engines that have been released for use with Firefox ? At the moment I would lke to add 'Fasteagle'

i use the mycroft site for search engine extensions - it really has most things you'll need.

http://mycroft.mozdev.org/dlstats.html

click on the engine you'll need and it will add it to the drop down search engine box in the top right of your browser.

use the search facility to find other ones that might not be in the top 100 list as well.
