    I'd agree with Conor. The questions being asked are the most basic. It could take weeks/months for them to get their head round everything if they try to learn it all.

    Only route forward is to find out if they DO have a domain name and if they have hosting. Hoping that they do and that the host provides a free website maker and online livechat support.

    Step 1: Find out if they have a domain name and if they have hosting. If you only have the domain name then go there and see if there are any clues.

    Come back with that info for next step help.

    Aside from what I said above, my immediate reaction would be to point somebody to hosting that has Fantastico - and use Wordpress through that.

    Wordpress is quick, easy, free.

    I'd go down this route because of the volume of Wordpress plugins - and they're bound to want the site to do more stuff over the next few months. Plugins are usually available for most stuff.
  • The BT/Recipero partnership offer free websites to community groups, non-profit and charitable organisations etc. Requires little or no knowledge :)

    Thanks for the positive advice. You guys that like to insult me don't even realise what I'm actually capable of. My main concern was 'free' as they do not have a budget. Anyway again thanks to those who have tried to help.
