Any suggestions where I might find cheap granite worktops for my kitchen?
I know the words "cheap" and "granite" are not usually used in the same sentence, but can anyone recommend any lower cost companies?

Where about in the country are you - people might be able to recommend somewhere locally. Often there are local independent DIY places that do good deals.0

When I was toying with the idea of granite worktops, I found there were many suppliers/fitters/companies listing on Ebay - they seemed to have some good deals. I ended up with formica in the end !!0

We got ours from eBay, i believe the seller is called MrMarble - i'd recommend him but not the fitters (subcontracted) as they didn't do a very good job of fitting them.0

Today I have received 4 quotes. The first 2 were from sellers on ebay and the second 2 from localish companies advertising in the yellow pages.
£622 (Ebay seller) - (excluding fitting)
£1350 (ebay seller)
£1800 local firm in Hampshire
£2500 local firm in Hampshire
The price difference is amazing...0
