Hunting for a memory! For a nostalgia hamper

Hi All,
I have posted on Yahoo Answers to no avail, so am hoping someone here can help. Am going hampering crazy at the mo, and am making a nostalgic one for my sister, who is three years younger than me. We were children in the 70s, and I remember us loving this particular thing that I am trying to get hold of soooo much that I know it would really make her Christmas if I could find one.
In my memory it was called something like a Japanese or Chinese Water Garden. It came in a box I think, and inside were all these colourful very tightly rolled bits of paper. You filled a large bowl with water, and poured them in and it looked like a floating garden blooming. We thought it was absolutely magical.
I have searched online for all variations of what I thought it was called, and have been to Hawkin's Bazaar, which I thought was the most obvious place, but with no luck.
Does anyone else remember them?
Thanks in Advance
Vicky

No, but thank you for looking for me. I have seen these - and they're pretty aren't they? I would just love to find the exact thing - which probably doesn't even exist any more - whatever it was called! Lol:rolleyes:

My two boys were both children in the 1970's - they seem to remember what was 'in' then far better than I do. Be a lovely pressie for them next year.Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

I'm pretty sure that's not what she's after. They were coiled up bits of paper, you'd put them into a dish of water and they'd open up.
I was a child born in '82 and I had some, as did my friend round the corner who was older.
This is what they opened up into,___,
