Electricity costs about 4.5p per Kilowatt Hour, Gas costs about 1.2p per Kilowatt hour.
I wish I knew where to get gas for 1.2p per kWh, and for that matter electricity at 4.5p per kWh - unless it is at E7 rates which are generally 2-3p0 -
From my last bill: Electricity 4.59p Kwh, Gas 1.204p Kwh.
I did not include the daily standing charge which is 16.5p for Electricity, and 14.7p for gas.
I'm currently with Scottish Power online tariff, capped price.
The point I was making was that Electricty is 4 time the price of gas (at the moment anyway)
