  • Evening everyone.

I'll try and be in again this week. We, or more DH, have done loads this weekend.
    • All 5 upstairs windows washed, including the frames and sills
    • both kids bedding changed
    • all upstairs hoovered
    • mouldy wall washed
    • all downstairs hoovered
    • bathroom fully cleaned
    • lots of chrimbo pressies ordered
    • DS2's cot heightened - it had been left on bottom setting from DS1 being in it, and i can't put DS2 in without dropping him a bit the last bit which then wakes him again, so raised it to about half way
    • DH raked up leaves in garden, and ran the scarifier round part of the garden till the green wheelie bin was full
    • took kids to park
    • visited my parents
    • done a few washloads
I am feeling poopered so haven't done much, but the house is looking a lot more sparkly than normal.

I wanted to make sure i posted tonight as there was an internet warning that tomorrow might be a day for a lot of trouble with computer viruses as they are trying to hit people who are doing online xmas shopping, so i thought i would warn you all.

I also wanted to ask 2 things - our quidco bingo card was full but we didn't have 8 in a row - how did that work?

And the other thing, my dad said to me yesterday that he had heard that meat inspectors who work in abbatoirs were going on strike or something, so there was a possibility of some meat shortages. Anyone else heard of this?

Right, no MACAWs here, i am just going to keep trying to do my very best and see where it gets me.

    Night all.
    Michelle, x
  • PF you are meant to be on light duties - thats an aaaawwwfully long list!!!

loopy-lou glad the wedding went well with no mass murders - congratulations!!

ZLS a clean wash is for your dishwasher and washing machine - run a fairly hot programme with soda crystals and or white vinegar/ or borax or bleach or something that will clean the pipes - no clothes or dishes just the cleaning stuff - either lob it in the machine or in the drawer

Just caught up again...hugs to all in need, and congrats to loopy - also to jjef.

Yet again I've ended up spending all Sunday working on school stuff - I'm going to make that my challenge for the week I think - do all the planning. resources and admin by Saturday evening!

I have done a bit of intermittent flying, so all the washing done, and everyone fed - I even thought about Christmas, and started making some lists - I even bought some things! Livingroom looks like a bombsite, and the bathroom is covered with weird splashes where DD dyed her hair....

I am working (and a meeting after school) tomorrow, day's supply on Tuesday, so will prbabaly get back into routine on Wednesday - take care till then!

Hello :j . I'm a regular MSE poster, but a first time Old Styler :o

Please may I join. I've been following last week's thread, and need a kick up the rear end to catch up on my housework. I have a teeny house, and there's only 2 of us and a dog, but I seem to spend forever cleaning the house at the weekend.

You Ladies seem to be very motivational, so I hope that some of your good housekeeping rubs off on me :D

This week, my target is to complete level 1 every day, and then hopefully i can progress to level 2 next week.
