    I'm in again this week.
Getting there with the unpacking and sorting. Kids room is almost livable, just waiting to get the new wardrobe from my mam and I can get the rest of their stuff put away.

Need to get DP to get the units up in the bathroom then I think everything will have a home to go to.

Off to watch Top Gear while I surf lol.

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    I'm in again.

Not managed to read the thread since about Thursday - why does it all go pear shaped at the end of the week?

I hope everyone is well and that there have been no major disasters.

Going to get an early night because DD is ill and has been asleep most of the day so no doubt she will be up in the night.

    Night all.
  • hope she feels better in the morning davgirl and doesnt keep you up all night.

so you are not saying "never again" this time pigpen - and more importantly did the birthday girls enjoy it??

I'm in again this week - only at work Mon - Wed as I have to cater for DD2's 21st Birthday party on Thursday, and having hair done on Friday -free at college as I'll be the model the tutor uses, cut, colour, highlights the lot:j

DS's old bedroom is now half repainted - OH plans on finishing during the evenings this week so we can move the office stuff in next weekend.

Made a sherry trifle for pud but ate too much roast pork and trimmings so will be having it for supper instead.

    :hello:Hi All
Hurrah I'm back. Hope everyone is well and having a good weekend! Apologies for my utter absence last week, I was in solo charge of little sister ( 13 but an utter terror) and methinks I was far too easily distracted by the lure of shopping trips and cosy afternoons at the movies. I've no idea how single parents manage to get everything done, keep the kids happy and scrape a second or two for themselves....you all have my un-ending admiration!!!
