Am I the only incurable romantic on this thread then? Maybe he's seen what a complete a*s he's been and is trying, in his own way, to get back into the relationship. It does take men some time to adjust to not being numero uno in their woman's life, and maybe he's realised that he doesn't want to let it all go now.

No that is one of the things I thought.. the other was he has found somewhere else to go..

    I prefer my cats!

Hmmm there's a child's quad bike on our ecycle thing which is like freecycle. It says phone after 6pm, I suppose I should wait? Feel a bit rude calling before but then I have a thought that someone will be rude and call early and get it. What would you do?

    Morning

Hugs to everyone who wants one.

I've taken some super duper strong painkillers so my heads a bit fuzzy:o .

I'm still trying to get through to the dentist:mad: .

I did hardly any flying last week so i've got to get my act together this week.

    So far today i have

    10 min ironing
    wm x 1
    td x 2
    Fold x 1
    Put dry dishes away
    Cleaned sink
    Washed up
    Made beds
    Collected laundry
Tidied & hoovered living room & passage

Does anyone want to join me in a HHC 10.00-10.30?

I think most secondary schools are the same..

I wonder when that started? We used to wear coats to secondary school. Mind you we are talking Jurassic Period here :rotfl:(apparently - according to my DH anyway :rotfl:)

And they wear jumpers which they aren't meant to do AND I am such a rebel they wear hats and gloves and scarves too!!

Luckily at my DD's school a jumper is a part of the uniform so she does wear one if it's cold. She will wear gloves too, and has a scarf of sorts which she wears just for show I think - it's a very thin Indian cotton one so can't be much practical use!

It might be they are out at work until then.. I'd cll before and if they answer apologise for calling earlier than it stated but say you are at work from 5pm..

I'd ring now and leave a message.

The kids round my way, go to school no matter what the weather is doing in shirts, no jumpers, coats or anything. Must be mad the lot of them.

I got through to the dentist:j even better it's when Ds2 is in nursery so i won't have to worry about him.

Ds1 hates wearing a jumper or coat:rolleyes: . He was getting dressed this morning without his jumper so i made him out it on. The other day we went shopping and he didn't want to wear a coat so i let him wear a jumper instead and he was freezing;) so i told him not to moan as he'd chosen not to wear it.

Thanks for the info on the strike, I will ask at my butchers this week if the smaller one he uses is effected.
Gryfon yes I do. Worksurfaces either one at a time, or, throw it all in some boxes, clear and clean, then sort the junk, you're less likely to dump it back on there after it's looked so nice. Freecycle thing would email saying you are interested, leave your name, number incase they wanted to call you earlier and that you will call after 6pm as requested. If I was on nightsshift and didn't want to be disturbed so I put that I'd be mighty annoyed if someone called while I was asleep.
holly pleased you managed to get through, you just reminded me I need to make the kids an appointment each, somewhere aroudn the next 4 weeks of madness.....
johanne it's good to hear he's improved today and you've managed to get some me time, make the most of it, but think I'd be inclined to agree with pigpen.
juliejim ((hugs)) atmosphere doesn't sound nice, I am sure he'll snap out of it soon enough, if he's anything like mine it'll be when he wants something
AnW'sMum well done on your shiney new medal :D

Don't know what it is about Sunday nights I just can't sleep, maybe worried I will sleep in, it's weird just lying awake most of the night and now I have the yawnies

Checked diary/calendar, Wed-Fri looks like chaos, done online banking, kids off to school (DS2 dragging his heels as usual) gave a little advice to a parent who'd had a pretty rough morning, walked the woofs, bins out (waiting until neighbour goes out so I can fill her bin too :D just incase she needs to put anything else in, she's ok with it but I prefer to wait just incase) took lights wash out and hung around the house, gathered darks stuff ready to put in.

Today my MUST DO list is

Not spend anything I don't NEED to
    Pigpen's list
Finish putting laundry away in my room
    Relocate contents of ottoman
Put xmas presents in ottoman (6 boxes of stuff 'dotted' around)
Phone round gas companies to get safety thing done (hopefully landlady will reply to email with an ok)
Spend an hour doing some of my research
Usual dailies (1 laundry load, vacuum through downstairs, S&S bathroom, meals, dog stuff etc etc)
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Good plan...wish I didn't feel rude though :rotfl: Too polite!

I just heard a small pathetic voice go "help"...then a few seconds later "help, help me"! So thinking maybe DD2 does need help I try to find her, and found her wedged in a gap where we keep drinks between the range cooker/boiler and a cupboard. Poor girl :o

Going nowhere fast now. Feeling a bit stressed as I have small boy who we take to school to look after after school and he can get a bit excitable when the other two get home
