am looking to buy a system for my house but want to discuss features etc to suit my needs. so i'm looking for anyone on here clued up, or can anyone advise on a supplier i can talk to/visit, midlands/north west.

Have a word with your Local Police Crime Prevention Officer, they may have a list of suppliers or if not a guide to what to look for.

thanks for the prompt reply, will bear that in mind, technical details is what i'm looking for, how they intergrate with existing pc, can all features be controlled from a networked pc, and such things.

i'd like a seperate dvr in the loft, but with full controlability from pc in spare bedroom.
