I need some help

I left a thread but no one replied so really need help now. Abbey are wanting to take some bank charges out of my account at the end of the month. I phoned them to see if I can get it moved back until next month as I really cannot afford to pay it this month as I havent got much of a pay from work but from next month I will be having a regular wage and can then afford it. Was told nothing we can do if you dont like it email the complaints department. So I emailed the complaints department as had an email back saying I should hear from them in the next six weeks but obviously these charges will be out by then and I will be charged again as it will take me over my overdraft limit.
Is there anything I can do? I am planning on phoning them again tomorrow and plead and beg with them as this is the first charge I have had in the last six months and only got it as a direct debit has come out which I didnt even know I had (all direct debits come out of hubbies account). Will it do any good to phone again as its really going to screw us up financially, we have looked into having a mortgage break for the month to cover it but Abbey have said we dont have the right sort of mortgage, we have looked at getting it up but cannot do that either.
It feels like Abbey is just laughing at us as we are trying to reach an agreement but they are not willing to budge.
Any help will be grately appreciated

Are you able to borrow from relatives to cover the charges? Do you have any friends you can borrow from? Are there any bills which you can get delayed?0

Cannot borrow from anyone as everyone I know have had to tighten their belts at the moment especially with christmas just around the corner. Im not sure about delaying bills, tried to get a mortgage holiday was told not got the right sort of mortgage. Can you take a payment break with loans etc or household bills as this is all that we have come out after mortgage and insurances.0 -
You could try calling up the people who oversee one of your bills and asking them if you could pay late or miss a payment entirely, or paying one of them by credit card in the meantime. But if none of these work, and Abbey won't refund, you may just have to suck up the inevitable fees, I'm afraid.0

Im in a sort of similar situation.
First off, im a single mum and on benefits.
At the beginning of the month i had a charge for missing a dd, which is fair enough. Because the charge came off at the beginning of the month, i ended up missing another 2 dd's which meant getting another 2 charges (£35 each). I went into the branch to explain i couldn't afford it coming off and they were quite unhelpful and just told me to phone telephone banking, which i did and got them refunded, only to be told it will take 4 working days to go back into my account and it wont be happening again as it was a "goodwill gesture". This means that i have now again missed the dd that i originally got charged for, plus another dd.. so im back to square one with another £70 due at the beginning of the month.
Is there anything i can do to get out of this cycle?0
