Can anyone help.
I need to replace the battery on my doorbell. Last time I had to buy a whole new doorbell as I couldn't find the battery. Am I being stupid or are they difficult to find!!
If anyone could tell me where I could find one I would be very grateful.
Thanks

A common battery used in many devices. Recently bought a Panasonic branded one in Morrisons for £1.99 but you should be able to buy one in most shops especially camera shops. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

I got mine from eBay - got a pack of 6 for something ridiculous like £2 including postage.
PM me if you'd like - I can probably find the seller I used who was reputable and v helpful...0 -

I must say however, it's an unusual sized battery for a doorbell - these are more common in timepieces and small electrical gizmos.0 -

Froogle's already been mentioned, but even more obvious is just to type it into google.co.uk. You'll hardly be short of results.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

CR2032 are the backup battery normally fitted to the motherboard of PC's.
Any computer shop or workshop should have them on the shelf for a couple of quid at the most. Even the dreadful Dixons will have them - but probably for £3.50 ! Each.
If you use them a lot then bulk buying will get the prices in the postings above however for PC use they will last at least 3 years and probably twice that in practice.
You could also save money in the long run by buying a door knocker ......qui tacet consentire -
