We know it is not a scam as such but these companies try to give the impression that they are part of sky. I got six different letters from six
different companies when my box was running out of guarantee, all implying they were part of sky. the letters are misleading to say the least. If you want to renew your guarantee then ring sky direct.

Of particular interest is the part of the sales training for these companies where they are told by the sales trainer to scare the people they call into buying. And also the bit where another trainer says 'If she thinks I'm Sky, that's her problem.'
