I have no luck with technology
It's a WD drive, under a year old but they have the wrong date for my warranty running out, I've emailed them a couple of times but heard nothing. The year is up in early December and the drive is dying.
Am I likely to get a replacement out of them? Are they always this hard to deal with?
And, do I have a chance of saving anything on the drive?

I've run the Diagnostic programme and it's come up with Error 08: Too many bad sectors
Just a thought, I bought it from Amazon, will they replace it?No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

They should replace it if it is under warranty.
Bad sectors are fairly terminal. Get what you can off the drive as soon as possible, it's only going to get worse.0
