citibank and shopperdiscounts

Has anyone had a problem with being charged £8 a month for shoppingdiscount? I took out an easyjet credit card and I am being charged the above amount, however not aware of this I got charged £20 late payment so I had to pay £29.56 and now I have another bill for the same amount for this month. I don't use the card and have now informed them I no longer require the card. Does anyone know if I can claim this money back?

Membership of Shopper Discounts was incorporated into the application you did with Easy Jet and you need to call Shopper Discounts urgently to cancel your membership and prevent the £8 a month charge.

Then you can ask about refunds on the basis that their wording isn't very clear.

Call them as soon as possible: 0808 234 1539

I hadn't come across Shopper Discounts being included with Easy Jet credit card applications before I must admit, but during a flight booking I think it's quite common.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up.

I'm saving all my points up at the mo so I only use it for general purchases, have never used it to book flights with.

I was about to go through my statements with a fine tooth comb!
