I bought one and put a region 1 disc in and its played fine. Mine seems to be multiregion out of the box! It does appear to a bit picky on media. Some of My DVD-R skip that play fine on my Pacific home machine. I would still recomend it for the money.0

My parents got one of these for me on Thursday as I have no Kiwk Save near me - gave it to me today and on opening the box I find it has everything in it apart from the dvd player!
Anyone who has bought one know if they normally take the dvd player out of the boxes and have to put it in when you buy one?
If not, how do I prove I never got one?0 -

BTW are Medion still terrible at warranty repairs?0 -
Does anyone else have problems with this machine. It is very hit and miss over the media it accepts. It doesn't like approx 50% of my DVD-R's or even a couple of originals, but they all play fine in my 2 other home machines. I wanted to exchange it but KWIKSAVE are out of stock and can only offer me a refund.
I rang Medion and they said if I send it in they will check it but it may take upto 28 days and this may be a characteristic of the machine rather than a fault.
Aldi are selling the Tevion (same machine, different name for £140)and if I know it will paly ok I will tale me Medion back for a refund and buy the Tevion for an extra £10. can anyone help me with my query?0 -
Hi
Does the AV outputs alow you to connect to a TV so that you can play DVD's at home ?
Thanks0 -
BeerBelly...the type and brand of media is so important... do you know what brand they are...and speed?
Personally I find +r's are best... if you can only use -r's maybe try some Datawrite 8x Grey's (Fuji Dye)0
