M and S Card bonus points

Anyone know if the bonus points vouchers that you receive in the post with the money off vouchers is linked to your card?
My mother has different ones to me and wants me to buy stuff for her and use some of her vouchers. Trying to work out if I can do that using my card????? Also, can you use the money off vouchers with cash??
The M and S website hardly gives any info on the vouchers so cant find out there.
Hoping someone on here may have experience?
