Help please: Branches open tomorrow?

I'm in England, and need to visit a building society branch (the Coventry) tomorrow, i.e. Tuesday. I've just been talking to someone in a Halifax call centre about something else, and she told me most of THEIR branches would be closed tomorrow, which shocked me somewhat, as I thought it was a normal working day and not a BH.
Does anyone know what the banks & building societies generally are doing tomorrow? Specific info re Coventry BS would be greatly appreciated.
Apologies for cross posting to savings & investments too.

Remember that the "Halifax" call centre is very likely to be one of the ex-Bank of Scotland now that it's "Halifax Bank of Scotland" - in Scotland tomorrow (Jan 3) is a 'Bank Holiday'..... in England it's generally not - that said usually the banks in Scotland keep to English bank holidays now.....There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice0 -
It's business as usual tomorrow but Halifax might have other ideas.p3gg wrote:I'm in England, and need to visit a building society branch (the Coventry) tomorrow, i.e. Tuesday.
