Hi Everyone i have been reading this forum for the past week and thought i would share my story with you all. I am on a DMP and have been for the past two years our debt was £75k Nov 2006 and its now down to £45k Nov 2008 its been a hard long road and we know we still have a long road ahead, but i am proud that we havent used credit for two years and we have managed ok we dont buy things now unless we can afford and we have proved we can do it. At times its hard i wont say it isnt but i feel now that i have broke the back of the debt and we are on our way at times i feel like i am wishing my life away as DMP doesnt end till Aug 2012 (hurry up the olympics

Hi and welcome.
Congratulations on getting so far with your debt and not using anymore credit in the last 2 years that's a massive achievement and an inspiration for people like me who are just setting up a dmp.
Keep on going, the years are flying by for me so 2012 will be here soon.DMP started Jan 09 £55,509.29  current balance is £21,482.49p:(0 -

Wow! You have paid off a lot!
Have you been through the house to see if there is anything that can be sold on Amazon/ebay/Play? This is a good time of year to list good quality items as people will be on the look-out for pressies.0 -
I have a spare room full of stuff that i could ebay and so much designer clothes that i could sell but i am so lazy lol i know i know i should ebay it, its all money after all.
