How do I connect new DVD recorder/TV/Sky/VCR

Based on recommendations on these Boards, I have just bought a Panasonic DMRES10 DVD recorder.

Now all I need is to work out how to connect it all. I have looked at the instructions and am lost. For the moment I would like to keep the VCR in the loop if possible to give me the option of recording onto it until I have sussed out the DVD (I also use it to watch existing videos)

TV, DVD. SKY and VCR all have 2 scart sockets and where does the terrestrial aerial go?

If you are going to keep the VCR for the time being they probably the simplest connection scheme is:

SCART connections: VCR<>DVD<>Sky>TV.

Aerial: Wall Socket>>VCR>>DVD>>Sky>>TV.

You may need to have the DVD or VCR on standby respectively when using the other unit to prevent the unwanted unit from sending its signal to the TV.

Thanks Guys for the replies. I was in the process of setting it up when I realised that I have a dodgy Scart lead. Off to buy a new one and then will start again.
