    A mix. Stocking pressies are wrapped in red gift wrap as they are from Father Christmas & he only has red gift wrap! But there are usually one or 2 in there which aren't wrapped.
    Main pressies, under the tree &are from family etc, are a mixture of mostly wrapped, especailly for adults with a few unwrapped if we know what they are (i.e have been with each other for the buying of them etc) and some unwrapped/unboxed for children as we find they just get frustrated with not being able to play with them straight away whilst we remove a million tag ties etc but initally they like to rip off the paper.
    We also have a growing number of reusable fabric gift bags which we just attach a gift tag to & tie shut each year. I have some more to make this year, out of last years now ripped Xmas PJ's!
    This year my 3YO's main pressie (almost only pressie from us) is a Thomas the Tank engine set which we are going to set up on Xmas eve after he goes to bed, so that he comes down to it ready to go.
    HTH;)

    I wrap everything with great effort! It really disappoints me when I get something that is unwrapped. I choose a different wrapping theme every year this year it's gold & bronze. Last year was red and silver, Kids get appropriate wrapping to their interests eg HSM and simpsons for this year.

    I don't wrap my family's stocking fillers or the kids main present as they come Father Christmas. I wrap everything else. Last year I've done my best friends kids stockings and didn't wrap them, they were snooping through them while I was still there so this year they will be wrapped!

    Wrap wrap wrap... I wrap everything! I love wrapping! For the inlaws i'm wrapping their christmas eve hampers in brown paper with red and gold ribbons and sprigs of holly/ greenery. It looks really rustic and Christmassy. I love wrapping! I have to stop it getting out of hand!!!

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.
  • I too wrap everything except the chocolate coins and the tangerine. This year however I will only be wrapping the box of my daughters dolls house as grandad is assembling it for her and leaving it in the playroom to be found later.
    Loving the dtd thread. x

  • I wrap everything though I'm trying something a bit different this year, wrapping in white plain tissue paper and decorating with all black ribbon and bows ( I am a goth after all ;)) Figure it's greener as I'm recycling the tissue from all sorts of places and it'll be stylish yet simple
