Hi, not sure this is in the right forum, but ...
I'm trying to get myself and my finances organised and i'm looking for a piece of s/w i can use that will help. I don't need to keep track of what's in my account or how much savings i've got - so i think something like MS Money would be too complicated.
I just want something that will help me keep track of when things like bills are due ie utilities, subscriptions, insurance, and also stuff like when i need to get my car MOTd. If it could also tell me when people's birthdays are coming up as well that would be great (and of course recommend presents to buy
).
I've looked at ewallet (ilium software) which is pretty close to what i want, but i need to be able to set alarms a couple of weeks in advance of something being due and it won't let me do that.
Anybody got any suggestions.
Thanks,
Dave

Try Open Office for a alternative to MS Office, http://www.openoffice.org/ and Post it notes for reminders http://www.3m.com/market/office/postit/com_prod/psnotes/
Is this what you meant
