Hi
I am using Microsoft Access 2003 with Windows Vista.
When I am working on designing and previewing Data Access Pages, the program is continually crashing.
There isn't a problem when working with tables, queries etc only Data Access Pages.
Does anyone know why this might be happening?
Is there some property I might need to change within Access, Vista or Internet Explorer which may help?
Thanks in advance

Have you checked the application event log to see what was the cause of the program exception?Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

I have looked, but does the following mean anything?
Faulting application MSACCESS.EXE, version 11.0.8166.0, time stamp 0x46437912, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6001.18000, time stamp 0x4791a7a6, exception code 0xc0000374, fault offset 0x000b015d, process id 0x1344, application start time 0x01c94ce37c6ea7e6.0 -

Thanks, but it doesn't appear to help.
I might try working on other databases to see if happens with them as well.0 -
Yes, Access appears to be crashing on different databases I have.
Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?

Have you tried doing a repair? Go into Add Remove Programs, select MS Office (or MS Access if it is listed separately). When you go inot it, you should have the option to Reinstall, Repair or Remove. Select Repair and it will reset it back to the installed default settings.0

Also do a Tools>Database Utilities>Compact and repair database with your database, although, if this is happening with several databases, it may not help.0

Thanks, I tried both of those methods but they haven't solved the problem.0

Have you installed Service Pack 3 for Office 2003?0

Yes I have.0
