£179!on a new washing machine, BUT as a new moneysaver I checked out which machine we wanted, used the price comparison sites, signed up to Rpoints, bought at John Lewis with free delivery and an extra years' warranty and found a £10 offer voucher, so am very pleased, no doubt more experienced people could have done better, but I am chuffed!

£20 on some flowers for a funeral on Thursday, I will get some of it back because they are on behalf of my Mum and all my siblings for an aunt who sadly died last week. I am tempted to place an order for some ink for my printer so watch this space, managed to resist the Amazon on line sale so far...

Well its been a VERY bad day.

Went to the gym, so no spend there, but the found my faithful jeans had a MASSIVE, embarrasing hole in them.

So cue lots of shopping around, only to find the only ones that fit (I'm fussy when it comes to jeans, have odd body shape!) cost £40.

!!!!!!.

Oh well. Going to try not spend anything for the rest of the week, except for padded envelopes for ebay sales.

1st transaction (spent £0.99, used gift voucher so didn't actually spend any cash also got 256 points using a 100, 150 and double points voucher):

2nd transaction (spent £3.71 but used points)
4 x tins of Heinz baby food (3 for 4 at £0.32 ea)
1 x pack of 2 pairs of suit socks in black - £1.75 (reduced from £5.50)
1 x pack of 2 pairs of suit socks dark brown patterned - £1.00 (reduced from £5.50)

3rd transaction later in another store (spent £0.37 but used points on husbands advantage card ;-D):
1 x pack of Walkers crisps

Not bad since I only spent £16.90 and managed to amuse myself from 10am - 4pm (although 2 hours was spent on bus :-o)

First post... am totally addicted to this site... £7.01 in Asda on essentials.

Took advice from the site and withdrew the cash from the ATM before I went into the store. Would have usually just filled the trolley with things I didn't really need and paid on a card and not batted an eyelid. Knew I only had a tenner available and was sensible and still managed to get some change...

Have birthday money burning a hole in my pocket - but NOT going to spend it until I see something I REALLY want!!!! :T
