EPOS Question

Anyone here know about EPOS systems? I' after a cable that goes from the cash till to the epson thermal printer. It looks like a phone line plug on the end, i've tried a phone wire with two male plugs, and not unsurprisingly, it did not work. Anyone know where i can get one? Tried Maplin without luck.

You may be able to find out whats its called, and either order a new one, or get a part number to order from elsewhere. It's probably some kind of non standard serial connection.

I assume you mean a RJ11 (clear plastic with four wires) rather than a BT (white plastic) plug.

It'll be down to the wiring, the cable you are using is probably wired pin to pin (1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4). You'll need to determine the right wiring for each end.
