free credit reports from card providers

i am just curious, i have the cap one paltimum card, and as part of the contract i can get 2 free equifax reports a year, however i also have a natwest current account (advantage gold) to which if i activate their fraud security i also can get a free report from equifax.

will the fact that i am already signed up to equifax (through that cap one card) cancel out the ability to be able to re-register as well for the natwest one?

just wondering if that means i can get 3 free credit checks or not this year

(i did an initial check when i got the free one in september, however i have recently cancelled a few credit cards and would like to check in a month or so that they ahve been marked as settled (plus i have had a few alerts advising changes to my file, i assume they are the addition of my mobile phone and perhaps cancellation of one of the credit cards, but you have to access the credit report to check)

i also have a loan thats due to finish next april and would want to check again in june/july but was wondering if that 3rd check would have to be paid for or if i could use the natwest access to get that one.

not sure about whether being with cap one will mean that natwest won't work, but i use the cap one service and equifax will send you an email everytime there is a change to your credit report which you can then log into equifax and see (no charge). so any cc you have cancelled should ideally show up via this.

you don't need to access your report again...u r able to view ths changes simply by logging into equifax...if u want details of how to do it let me know...
