I don't if I told you guys this, but my friend at work- she is new (and thank God lovely) she used to be about 16 stone, and now is this tall slim elegant girl - maybe a size 10? 8?

and she did it by sensible eating and some exercise - running

I know it sounds bonkers but I never really believe people do it? you read the magazines and see the before and after photos but I always think airbrushing, angles etc.

but to have the real deal in front of me it does make it much more realistic.

Buffy my sister joined SW about 2 years ago (she has terrible probs loosing weight down to various things, polycystic ovaries being one of them) and it has taken her a long time but she has lost over 5 stone and ran the London marathon last year. She is my inspiration when I am feeling down and things are tough

Buffy, I have several friends who have done it. My one friend lost 9 stone and has kept it off for over 3 years AND has had another baby as well! It can be and WILL be done. (By me)

9 stone:eek: !!!! I used to weigh that much

admmittedly it was when Wham was famous but you get the idea.

Well ideally, a stone and a half but the half would get her into the skirt and be a good start

a loss of 9 stone is amazing...and to keep it off and have a baby is so hard!
