  • More advice taken

Just had an email back from 'Sam' telling me that one of his Customer Service Team will contact me ASAP to help resolve my complaint.

I'll keep you all informed of progress

  • :T True to his word, today i received an email from a gentleman in Chief Execs Office informing that my complaint has now been investigated and BG have found there are two meters registered to my address.

    Excerpt from email

"Whilst this may all sound complicated, the confusion should have been cleared up by sending an engineer on site to confirm the correct details, following which, the duplicate supply would have been removed from the records. This is the most disappointing part – the fact we did not take the required action to swiftly address the matter.

In light of our shortcomings and as a gesture of goodwill, I have elected to withdraw the balances on both accounts."

As you can see, talking to the organ grinder instead of the monkey does work.
 Many thanks to that man for resolving our complaint ,even though we said we'd pay outstanding amount from April to Nov. (It's probably coming out of someones Christmas Bonus).
 Also many thanks to members of this forum for their advice and showing us where to go.
