This is an online deal. The price will continually drop until it closes on 27/11. But it will only go down as far as £13.00 (the Bid From price)0

Looking at the sites FAQOnly customers who have selected the "Buy now" option will have secured their purchase. Clicking the "Buy now" button will place you onto the buyer's board immediately, guaranteeing you the product.
After you have confirmed your bid you will be presented with a "Thank you" page which will inform you that you've successfully purchased the product or if you need to keep watching that auction in case you need to increase your bid.
How can they just pull an item which was available as a 'Buy Now', and we were presented with the screen telling us we had been succesful?0 -
You could try phoning Customer Services to ask about the item.
If you are really daft you could phone the 0870 number, but if you phone the "real" number 0208 6009700 you will get through really quickly.
Haven't needed to use it for a while but it worked the last time I needed it, and it'll be charged at normal landline number not the extortionate 0870.0 -

Looks like back on sale now0 -
Just read the terms and conditions and it does say that if the quantity does not reach zero then the bids aren't valid! Grrrrrr0
-
Sorry, that is so unfair.0

They would have known quantity would never had reached 0 as it was a web exclusive,so they would not have to sell any at a £1,web exclusives are normally very low quantities eg 3or4 not 1000,another bid tv publicity stunt:mad:0

The auction will close when the quantity of products left is zero or alternatively when sit-up at its absolute discretion decides to close the auction for any reason(s) whatsoever, and the closing will usually be communicated by the TV presenter. The relevant channel web-site will also highlight the closing of an auction by showing the closed auction in the previous auctions section. In some cases, where the auction may close, at the sole discretion of sit up, before the quantity of products left reaches zero, the auction will either be suspended, cancelled or closed (and sit-up will have no liability to those customers who placed qualifying bids) or the number of qualifying bids received will be fulfilled at the price of the most recent qualifying bid.
Found it now. Don't see how its fair they can say that your bid is binding and that once you've had your bid confirmed you've won, but if we feel like it we can just cancel the auction.
Off to see how to cancel the freshly opened account with them now to ensure I don't get bombarded with their *offers* now.0 -

It wasn't a web exclusive. It was advertised on the site as a TV Deal.0
